About Resurge Bihar
We are not a media company. We are an editorial home.
Resurge Bihar is an initiative of Happy Horizons Media Pvt Ltd, built on a single conviction: social platforms are rented attention; a website, a newsletter, and a council are not. The brand exists to convert rented attention into owned audience — and to be the institution Bihar's story deserves.

Our origin
यह एक पत्र है, सम्पादकीय नहीं।
— This is a letter, not an editorial.
Bihar-born people learn one thing very early — the world has already written our story before we get a chance to. A train compartment, an address, a surname, an accent — and an entire verdict in a stranger's eyes. We don't fight that verdict. We just keep working. Sometimes in Patna, sometimes in Delhi, sometimes in Singapore. And each time, the same question comes back — how did the land that gave the Buddha his awakening, Aryabhata his zero, Chanakya his statecraft, become a punchline?
The answer is simple, and difficult. Bihar was never the problem. Its story was never told. For three decades, almost everything written about us was written by people who do not live here — about us, not for us. In migration numbers, in crime reports, in electoral caricature. The people who actually stayed — running farms, factories, classrooms, courts — never made it into the main narrative.
Resurge Bihar is a slow, stubborn repair of that injustice. We do not shout. We do not chase virality. We do what a publication is supposed to do — listen, travel, write, rewrite, and publish.
Why now
"A generation has emerged from Bihar with capital, credibility and courage — all three. For the first time, more people are coming home than leaving. This is the moment their stories must be recorded."
— Editor's Statement, Issue 01
The mission
A patient reply to the narrative that was imposed on us.
We are mobile-first because 90% of our audience is. We are bilingual at minimum because our subject demands it. We are apolitical because the brand we are building must outlast any government. And we are slow, on purpose, because the durable archive is the point.
We are not entertainment. We are not outrage. We are the third path that almost disappeared from Indian media — respectful, in-depth, local, and beautiful.
Editorial principles · Made public
Six rules we do not break.
01
Apolitical, by design.
We celebrate, contextualise, and report. We do not endorse, attack, or commentate on partisan politics. Ever.
02
No controversy farming.
We refuse the reactive register. If an idea cannot survive a week, it does not belong here.
03
Regional balance is audited.
Every quarter, we publish a count of stories per region. Imbalances are corrected by the next quarter.
04
Source rigour, named.
Every claim has a named source, a number, or a document. No anonymous gossip masquerading as reporting.
05
Commercial transparency.
Sponsored work is labelled at the top of the page, in the URL, and in the share card. No exceptions.
06
Indic-modern voice.
We treat Hindi, Bhojpuri, Maithili and Magahi as equal partners to English — not as translations.
A promise to the reader
We will not waste your time.
Every story will be published with a purpose. Every email will be sent for a reason. We are guests in your inbox, your attention, and your trust — and we will behave like it.
In return, we want you to give us years, not weeks. This is an archive. Read it that way.
